After review...that board is crap! It's just full of very boring spam. Worse than ACOL. I found one thread which had 100 posts, about 80% of which were two guys quoting the exact same comment back and forth to each other.

we are supposedly becoming part of Europe, yet we cannot stay the UK we must be lots of little bits before we join Europe, some one explain the logic in that to me...

Correct me if I'm wrong (and I probably am), but isn't Great Britain and Ireland separate and independant countries with England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland being kind of like states of Great Britain?

Actually, isn't Great Britain simply England, Scotland and Wales (since Britain is the name of their common island), while the United Kingdom actually includes N. Ireland as well? (For now; only for now...*begins to sing "The Rifles of the IRA", but then regains his senses*)

England + Scotland + Wales = "Great Britain"

England + Scotland + Wales + Northern Ireland = "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" (or United Kingdom for short)
UK + Eire (Republic of Ireland) = "British Isles" - this is merely a geographical term.

No, they have their own law, their own democratic institutions and have a quasi-autonomous existence. They don't, however, have their own foreign policy or currency and they do owe fealty to the Queen. (There are some Acts of the UK parliament which are specified to apply to the Isle of Man so the position there must be a little different - I'm hazy about that).
